I just recently installed my new Authentic Top Secret Carbon Fiber Hood! I painted the outsides Lakeshore Slate and left the vents carbon fiber. I also had Randy (Caskyline) install his mesh grill in the vent openings.

I love the "rain guards" that I can easily screw on and take off. It helped so much with washing the car or during the rain. I like the fact that the fitment was perfect and just slapped it on there. The larger vents also are more evenly spaced vertically instead of coming in toward the front at an extreme angle.

Thanks Randy! I'm glad I didn't end up selling the hood!

Now to wait for the Top Secret Hood Dampers to come in.... another 8 weeks or so....

the hood looks great in person, john! but you should have it re-adjusted to fix the gap on the left (near the passenger fender and headlight). it's also noticeable because the hood to grille gap is uneven - it's bigger on the passenger side and gets smaller on the driver side. i'm sure it's just a matter of re-adjusting the hood hinges...that fixes the problem on a lot of seibon hoods.

Here's the cost of the hood, before tax:

and the cost of the paint job was $525. I had it done at Sixteen Customs in Gardena and Hiro did a great job paint matching. He took his time and did it right.

Actually, that picture above was taken last week. I adjusted it so it's nice and no gaps (at least from what I can see).... I'll post pix from the meet hopefully tonight....

Awesome looking hood and rain guards to top it off. I like the manner in which painted it, as well.
