he took out the locking ring. When the car isnt slammed it needs the locking ring to hold the perch ring in place. When it's slammed the perch ring just sits up on top and has no where to move... so you dont really need it.

Sorry to bring an old thread back, but what year is that grille? It's from the coupe correct? Were the top little bumps shaved?

are you asking where the bars are from? i think they're the stock bars cut off from the stock grille.

 

Yea I'm talking about the bars, I wanna know which grille they're from, the coupe? if so, what year... and was there any work done to the actual bars, as in... deleting the little bumps on each bar, because by looking at the picture, you really cant see the bumps that come on the stock grills.

 

all grilles are the same from 03-07 coupes. you can't see the bumps because the ionic grille covers them up. I hate those bumps too that's why I made it like it is.
