It is actually alligned and parallel. Careful measurements were made. Also, if you have noticed, the side markers on the 03-06 sedans are slightly curved near the wheel-well. That may explain the "crookedness" that you are seeing. Thanks everyone for comments!

I cannot speak for 05+ owners, but for 03-04 models, there is a piece of plastic trim that surrounds the clock, compass, fan, etc. screen. Remove that piece and disconnect the red alarm led connector. Remove the clock, open assembly. The 2 bulbs that are used to illuminate the clock are covered by an orange "condom". Simply remove the condoms and the light will shine brighter and paler. The actual colour of the bulbs are those of standard incandecent lights, but when the orange center console and compass surrounds the clock, the contast makes the clock lights appear to be white.

1) I don't know what neons you're talking about, everything is LED.
2) There is no blue. Lights may seem to have a blueish tint but they are white.
