its the seibon vs lip and yes it does not fit flushed (there is a crazy gap in the middle). With a little modding here and there it might. I have the sports bumper 06+, im sure it fits good on the 05 and under.
Anywho my theme for the whole car is carbon fiber//silver. I love the old GTR's with that theme so i try to imitate as close as possible but it is dang hard with the prices of carbon fibers
I'm thinkin of selling the lip and the sport bumper itself and just get a nismo bumper
or if i stay with the lip fix it somehow and get a seibon ts hood. Decisions desisions
