Quasi-teaster pic thread: new car, new wheels!

What's up fellas! Just picked up my '07 coupe two months ago, and got to modding! First mod: Work Meister S1 3-piece wheels... Am I the first black G to do the gold Work Meisters with the black rivets??? Let me know if there's another one out there and maybe where pics are!!! I figured the gold would be different and not too "blingy" since the center piece of the Work Meister is pretty small, and the black rivets would match the black car.

I took these just to have "something." I'll post up much better pics later this weekend of the car washed, closeups, the whole 9...

And YES, Tein S springs are sitting in the garage, and windows are getting tinted in a week or so.

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

never much liked those works, just b/c the step lip is so big/fat it makes the rim look like a size or two smaller than it is. But other than that I love gold on black/IP. 5 spoke fatty wheels normally make the rim look smaller IMHO

Very nice looking wheels. The S-Techs will definitely complete the look.

your car is gonna look sick when you get all the stuff on it. I never rly likes these wheels, but the gold on black looks good.

Not digging the wheels. But you need a drop ASAP... looks like it has an SUV height.

IMO, drop should have been the first priority, if not both at the same time.

great choice in wheel and color.......def should have gotten the springs on first cause these are the kind of wheels that look much worse when not on a lowered car......i hope the springs drop it at least an inch, if not more cause then it will look sickkkkkk

Thanks for the replies, fellas!

I know the "normal" sequence of mods, but I ordered the wheels first because of the rear tire width, or lack thereof. I had bought a GReddy intercooled twin kit for the G from a buddy's buddy (new in box), and we were planning on installing it a couple weeks ago. I wanted to have SOME traction, LOL! Just hadn't got around to getting the springs on. Now, we MIGHT forego the GReddy kit and go with bigger turbos and a built motor, but we'll see. Depends on certain "hookups" go through.

Teins are going on this week!

wheels are hot, but i wish the work gold was a little more bold.

it'll look much better after the drop!

if you're going all out w/ a TT kit, why springs and not some nice coilovers?

$ goes to $ after built motor, twin turbos, intercooler, clutch, fuel system upgrades...
