Yeah I'll definitely be taking it back tomorrow. Just don't know if I should call or just go there right away. The place is like 40 minutes away because of construction.

that is a very bad tint job! get it redone asap, and you shouldnt have to pay any extra money to get it redone imo.

I had it redone today and it is much much closer to the edge. Except there are some bubbles left, but they will take care of that Monday.

What I did notice was there is some dust stuck behind the tint and the glass in the little back windows. First I thought they messed up again, but then I went to find bunch of cars with tinted windows and they all seem to have that.

Glad you got that fixed, most of the bubbles will go away after it dries in about 3 days, but if you still have bubbles take it back.

here's what my alta mere job looks like. i wasn't sure if they were supposed to go all the way to the very edge of the window but i guess it's not big deal since you can't tell unless the windows are half way down. they're at least uniform all the way around.

My drivers side is off by just a bit, sometimes when i look at it i think the window isnt fully closed. Glad that the shop re-did the window for you.

Yeah I am glad they did too.

Thing is after they re-did it, I went home and then at home noticed all these tiny, tiny bubbles. It is dust trapped between tint and window. Mostly on driver side back (little) window. All others have very, very few. I got all mad and called them and pretty much made it to where Monday they were gonna refund my money (120 out of 170) and take my tint off. Then I went around a parking lot at a local Best Buy and looked for cars with tint and I noticed that every car had those baubles with trapped dust. Then I felt like an idiot, because I never really paid attention to that on anyone else's car. Haha. So then I called back and said that I was being too picky and as long as they fix any air bubbles that might come up I'll be happy.

Also, I washed my car today, I'll post some pictures in a little bit.

uhhh...when i have had cars tinted in the past they didn't get dust trapped in them. That's not acceptable just because you found some other cars in the BB parking lot with it like that.

The frameless design of the coupe doors means you can have the edges filed. That results in virtually no edge.

Does any one else has some dust? Or is it pretty much perfect? Maybe it will lay better once more time passes?

Here are the pictures.

The second picture makes it look pretty bad, but thats when the car was dirty and there was dust and crap on the outside of the car.

And here the car after a wash.

Car looks clean...as for the window, it looks like they didnt clean it before re-laying the tint on it. Maybe it will settle over time but it looks like it will bubble worst or peel from that picture.

I am really **** too. Thats why I've been really frustrated about this for the past two days. I will see how it settles and then go from there. If it has to be fixed should be no big deals since the window is so small.
