Which looks best?

credit to clearcorners.com for the base photos.
Which one would look best for a IP with gold rims?

The lights will be filled with Quad projectors.

The gold is the underlying chrome that will be painted gold in the clearance strip.

I like 4 personally they will be filled with projectors as well.

Keep it simple and go with #1. Given a white car, even if you paint the headlights to match, there's still the black boarder and gap around the lights once installed. That to me looks poor. Color matched headlights only look decent on a corvette.
