i have 35% all around and i love it. not too dark and not light at all. i say go with 35%. i don't like light colored cars with heavy dark tint, and lp imo is kinda light. if your car was ob or some other "darker" color, then def go with 20%. in the end, its whatever makes you happy.
btw, in socal,35% is dark enough to make the car look incognito and clean, and light enough for cops to not pull you over. or maybe i've just been lucky???

most G35s come with some 'blue' hue/tint from the factory, therefore the 35% is more like 32% or less and 20% is more like 18%, just get a tint meter and see what I mean. Or if you have a police officer friend, let them test it for you.
Tint on our cars will always be darker as we have factory tint (basically nothing though...). Interior color plays a big role, I have 35% (Actually measured at 32%) and a graphite interior but it looks darker than my friends OB coupe w/ 20% w/ wheat interior...go figure...
