Quote: Went to THISwebsite and foud these results:

When the speedo reads 60mph i'm actually doing 62.9mph.
When the speedo reads 80mph I'm actually doing 83.9mph.

See attached graph....
Looks like you should be right on the dot of the Speedo because the OEM 17s are 215/55/17 instead of 215/50/17.

Thanks for the site though. works great.

He's dropped on Z suspension ( 1inch around) which in most cases you have to roll the rear fenders. You can possible get away with getting a more lower profile tire. like a 35 series instead of a 40 series.

it's hard to say if you will rub, if you are not dropped. I would assume if you have a couple people in the back that it will rub. If you were to stay at stock height and go with a lower profile tire, then you would most likely not rub, but I'm not 100% on that.

The factory 245/40/19 Bridgestone's worn half way didnt scrub at all, 2 people in the back, over speedbumps, etc, never. I just put on a new set of Kumho SPT's (same size) and they scrub all the time so I'm going to have to roll the fender. A lot of time people hear "roll the fender" and they think your making a big change to the fender on the car. This is not the case. Rolling the fender simply means pinching the inner lip of the fender in a tad to create more clearance. From the factory there is a lip about a 1/2" wide around the fender well, all you're doing is pinching it closer to the fender.

If you dont want to worry about them scrubbing try to find a 235/40/19 for the rear. The 235 is the width of the tire and since its thinner it will keep you from scrubbing. Sounds easy right. Not the case, i had hell trying to find a set of 235/40/19's. Bridgestone makes a set but I dont like that tire and that size was expensive as hell. 245/35 may do it but a 35 series tire rides rougher than a 40 and begs for a bent rim if you live in an area with any pot holes.
