Installed Nismo Ti Shift ****

Installation: Took me about 10 min (worst 10 min ever). Glad I never have to do this again. I'd rather pull out my own teeth (maybe not). People weren't kidding when they said it was a horrible experience to take it off. I lifted the console area around the boot to get to the shaft, gripped it tightly with a vice with 1 hand. I didn't have any wrenches large enough for the the **** itself, so I used brute force with my other hand to twist it off. Loosening it initially was the hardest part. Even after loosening the ****, it was horrendous to continue twisting it off. I hated loctite and I hated nissan during that time. I quickly went to Home Depot to the Bath section and grabbed a "ballcock shank" rubber washer for the finisher. Whoever thought of using this is a genius. It fits perfectly.

Look/Feel: Looks awesome with the '07 interior with the brushed aluminum console. I highly recommend getting this **** over the others to match our interior perfectly. The only drawback is the price. Luckily I got it used for a great price thru another member. It feels like it "belongs," know what I mean? My hands aren't that large so the **** feels much nicer than the stock one. The stock **** just seemed too big and burly and shifting didn't feel as precise. I feel like I can jam into the gears a lot easier and overall feels a lot better.

Shots were taken with a Canon Eos with EF 50mm and ext flash.

I hope you don't park it under the sun in the summer, cause it will be too damn hot to the touch for the first 5 mins or so...
Other than that it looks clean..

Yup... but i think he's screwed in that department since the shift pattern is already stuck on there... unless he can rotate the pattern without damaging it.

This is true. After i put mine on, i made this mistake and almost burned "Nismo" into the palm of my hand

Question for the OP: Does your **** have play in it? Meaning, does the **** turn when you grab onto it? I can't get mine to stay in the position i left it in.

Very nice. I am considering that **** but I think it is a bit darker than the aluminum on the 05+ interior. How does it match up in terms of color?

Yep, the problem of getting used is that the sticker is already stuck on top. Mine doesn't have any play, it's on pretty damn tight. Try doing 1 more full turn, but be careful it doesn't break!
