they use the same thing for kickplates in BMWs. problem is the glowing white version is salmon in color when off. and the white strips only glow teal green.

EL tapes are not nearly as bright as Ceelite, if you want to do this in the future, look into that.

I used EL sheet behind the Infiniti plaque i made. Pretty neat product.

silvernole, did you have a shop cut that out or did you do it yourself?

if you did would you happen to have the autocad or compatible file for an automated machine to cut a piece out?

nice John. How does it look during the day? Is it noticable from outside? And pictures of how it would look on the inside?

It's unnoticeable during the day, so I just turn it off and it looks like a regular skyline sticker on the inside.

On the inside, it's just a black rectangular piece, like a small sticker. I'll try to put a pix up, but again, it's about 2mm thick sticker placed flat against the glass....so it's very unnoticeable.
