ya it will be 3 weeks though. is there such thing as going aftermarket when repairing this stuff or does insurance only do stock parts?

make sure you take it to a bodyshop of your choice and talk to them about the aftermarket stuff

Mine Was Replaced With Oem Parts When I Hit A Deer, But The Damage Was 11gs, Glad To Here Everyone Is Ok. You Should Have Hit The Animal Because Now You Are At Fault, Atleast Thats The Way It Was With My Insurance. I Hit The Deer They Covered It, But If I Swerved And Hit The Jersey Barrier, I Am At Fault And My Insurance Would Have Went Up. Fyi

sorry to hear what happened man
Oddly enough, it's in your favor to hit an animal for insurance purposes. If you TRY to avoid it, you'll be at fault for losing control. If you smash the L out of the animal AND then you get into an accident, it's the animal's fault. That's what happened to a buddy of mine in SoCal. He hit a possum and skidding a bit into a guard rail. Insurance covered it because he wasn't "at fault." Weird.

Glad you guys are alright..its definitely an automatic reaction and its unfortunate as to the damage on your car but it coulda been worse. Good luck with the repairs.
