canon 85mm f/1.8

there is no "best overall lens to use to take pics of our cars..." (IMO)

it just depends on how you want to take the photo...everyone attacks photography from a different angle...

My favorite lens so far is the Tamron 17-50. I've had the 85 f1.8 and i have the 70-200 f4L IS, but the Tammy is by far the best for car shots.
