just this morning, i hit a big bug doing about 55.... luckily, damage was removed.

The raccoon was big but I didn't think it was that big.


The rear window spoiler I have is the UTR one. They only made two prototypes and never went into production. You can get one just like it on ebay.

Yeah I hit him hard and I tried as much as possible to miss him. If I would not have moved as much as I could he would have hit me dead on and messed up a lot more.

The piping is ok as is the IC, just some scratches, etc. My wheel has a number of scratches and one of my headlights has two broken tabs. My fender has some marks and my LED sidemarker is gone.

I went back to the scene and found my missing parts.


This sucks...

 

Ouch, ouch, ouch. And I was pissed off when a chunk of wood flew at me and put a dent in my stock bumper. Can't imagine how horrible your situation must be right now. Hope your insurance pays off most of the damage, if not all. I'm glad nothing happened to your headlights!!! Good luck with that. Keep us updated.

I guess I need to work on rodent-proofing those side markers too.

 

I should be able to fix the tabs on my lights but I'm still going to get insurance to pay for a new one.

I also decided to shave off the sidemarkers on my new bumper cover so I don't have to mess with this again.

Don't think it is upgrade time. Tim already has a new bumper that he is prepping to put on. He just got his rims, so he doesn't want to upgrade those. All in all this is a f'd up cituation. Good thing he didn't have the new one on already.

Glad your ok dude.I've seen people over react and swerve off the road and from there the story gets worse.
