Haha yeah, some of those guys are insane but unfortunately I can relate.

LazerRed1, there isn't any product that will repel dust so it's really not a P21s thing. A lot of it has to do with the outside conditions in terms of humidity. If it's fairly dry outside, the rubbing of a cars surface with create static almost regardless of what you use. If you follow up with a QD spray that should take care of most of the static. There are some products that are supposedly able to stop that from happening but I have yet to hear consistent reviews on them, at least not enough for me to drop some $ on.

Actually, I switched to Menzerna FMJ and really don't have the dust attracting problem any more. May not have been the P21S, just difference in wax and sealant. You can ground the car to get rid of the static when using microfiber. I had the P21S and wanted to see its look so I did it between details. I'm really into sealant over wax although I do use AW on top of the FMJ about once a month and the Duragloss QD after washing.

Sealant OVER wax?? Just FYI, you should NOT put a sealant over a wax it should be the other way around. The sealant won't adhere to the cars finish if it's going on top of a wax. The whole point of a sealant is your wanting to seal the paint but if put a wax down first it won't be able to do that because the wax will prevent that from happening and then you're just wasting product. Maybe you meant it in reverse? If you go on any of the major car detailing sites, you won't find anyone that waxes and then seals.

+1, the FMJ likely stripped the wax off anyways

LOL. No, no sealant over wax. If you do a true full detail, there won't be any lsp to worry about.

Wash with foam gun and CG Citrus wash at a concentration to strip, clay, wash again, dry, polish with PC, wash, dry, glaze, and finally about 10 hours later, lsp. Then 24 hours later another coat of lsp (sealant).

You can wax over sealant, but the only wax I use over the sealant is the AW spray.

Except AW isn't a wax either, its a sealant despite the "wax" in the name

Yea, Duragloss isn't the best at naming their stuff, but the products are very good. Have the 601, 105, and AW on my PU

I just use the AW, arguably the best product in my arsenal, it makes any other product look better!
