I still have some work planned to finish this up, but here's a little teaser. I removed the fog light on the drivers side, and had an air duct made to fit in the empty slot. The air duct gets routed towards the open end of my ARC air box, so I'm hoping it'll help get cool air to the engine on the hot track days that are coming up.

I plan on painting the inside of the headlights black, and tapering the outer edge of the duct a little more so the transition is a little smoother.

Thanks man! It's a spare light, so if it doesn't work out or I'm not happy with it, no big deal.

Tomorrow should be fun - but we're leaving at 5:30 to get out there for roll in, and it's gonna be hot as hell... so we'll see.

Don't worry, I'm leaving around 6:30am to roll out to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It'll definitely be warmer there since it's more northeast then Qualcomm.

I was looking forward to attending the show to see everyone, too. But I couldn't resist a chance to go feed giraffes.

Again, good luck and have fun. Don't forget some sunblock (I got hella burnt at the last EAF in SD!).

Thanks guys! Nothing new though... I've seen the headlight ducts on a few cars at the track, just have never seen a G running this setup. All the vents in my front bumper are filled with coolers (trans, ps, oil), and with the brake ducting setup we have planned, there was really no good way to get cold, fresh air to the intake. I don't use the fog lights at all, so I figured wth and cut it out

This setup is pretty nice looking-

Wow, I've definitely seen holes cut in headlights for cooler intake temps, but I'd never thought I'd ever see it on a G.

Pretty sick, Zack! I hope it works!
