I don't think I've ever seen a car that I liked in yellow besides lambo's or porsches but I have to say...your car is absolutly beautiful. I think the satin black with yellow is going to look amazing. I almost painted my G satin black but....I just couldn't change from DG...I love DG, it's a very flattering color for the G.

Damnit....I really wanted to be the first G with a flat black paint job. I cannot wait to see the finished product!

not too burst any bubbles, but this was supposed to be a post for the archives...something i can pull up, say 5 yrs down the line, and say I had the original idea back in 2007.

i too think that flat black paint is the current fad, so when I do it in 5 yrs, no one will say I did it cause it was the thing to do.

as you can see in my avatar, i'm having too much fun beating the poop out of this car right now.

i think it's original for a G35...unless you can show me otherwise.

EDIT: Paint similar to this will run $6500-$8000, includes engine removal, painting the engine bay, door jambs, trunk. The only thing not painted is the interior metal (behind door panels, under seats, etc), undercarriage and wheel wells.
