Nah, it's not Andy's (I think that's his name - good2go). This guy is from My350Z actually. We'll be meeting up again soon. He may not know it yet, but he just volunteered himself to be my test subject!

lol, I was wondering why Ryan said you were meeting me to do a shoot the other morning.

Calv, those shots are great. Nice car, nice lighting, nice setting (except for the interior shot with the metal gate in the background). Did you use a polarizer with the first few shots? That may be the cause for the tempered glass spotting on the windows.

almost all your pics taken with the 50mm lack DOF, try stopping down a little to get the cars more in focus.

your UWA 10-22 shots look decent but you really need to be aware of your shooting angle to control the distortion.

that lack of DOF and distortion were both intended.

they may not fit everyone's likings, but they fits mine.

I was thinking that, too. But I use a CPL all the time and this is the only picture where those spots show up.

Here is the low down on military stickers, look at the bottom one.
His is white which means civilian/contractor.
Red means enlisted
Blue means officer

Also, it looks like the sticker has a Navy badge on it, so I'm guessing he works on a Navy base.

Cal, I wish I had your lenses! It's friggin' hard to get sharp pics with the stock xt lens.

Those moving cockpit shots are sweet!

I think his contract is actually with the Air Force though. I told you guys he was a civilian contractor lol. He's out of town like every week (for work) and is really only in town on the weekends lol. He probably spends very little time working on any base.

I was just trying to share information about our base stickers that's all.
I guess we should drop it and let the thread get back on topic

Calvin... you changed the subject on this thread... what happened to the "I hate waking up @ 5:30 am for a photoshoot" title??
