not hatin just think its lame as **** and not really worth it, it is kind of a downgrade and make a car look as if its something its really not, which is cheap its kinda like changing a geo metro car emblem to a bmw emblem

It's only called an Infiniti because Nissan wanted something that sounded "higher end" when in all reality...it's a skyline. Take the toyota supra for example. Let's say that everywhere in the world it's sold, it's known as a toyota supra. Now lets say just here in america toyota decides to call it the Transpeed Rager. Harcore enthusiast would know it's really a toyota supra because that's what it's called all over the world so many would want to call it that because that what it really is and that's it's history, not the Transpeed Rager. It's the same with people that rabedge their infiniti's. The skyline obviously has a long and distinguished history with auto enthusiasts and just because nissan decided they wanted to give it a fancy name here in the US, doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a skyline. Look below...look familiar?

3. the car is manufactured in japan where the manufactureR calls it the skyline 350gt.
4. and yes, if you pop the hood and/or check the sticker inside your door jam it says VQ35.
