Hey guys i just swapped my G35 Emblems and put on the Nissan Emblems!
Tell me what you think!!
IS THE SKYLINE Lettering straight?:o
and is the Nissan Emblem in the rear Centered Correctly:rolleyes: ...let me know!

I've never been a big fan of swapping Infiniti badging for Skyline badging. Skyline 350 GTs are right hand drive, not left.

you can still see the infiniti emblem....

just clean off the residue from the infiniti emblem and you'll be all set

btw, don't let the 'S K Y L I N E' haters get you down...there are plenty lurking on this site

You should have used goo gone, scratch X, and bug and tar remover, to get the old mt fuji symbol glue off.

Now you need to remove the nissan to get it off......

clean it up a little more and youll be good

Yeah Im one of them that has the conversion! Alot of ppl will give you crap about it, but when it all comes down to it, it is a VQ series Nissan Skyline :biggthumpup:

i still dont understand first off you are in america not in japan, second its a left hand drive and not right, even thou its made by nissan doesnt mean its a skyline 350gt that car is a infiniti g35

Exactly. Personally, I wouldn't put "Skyline" on my car because of the haters, but it's yours, do what you want.... But I do agree that you should clean up the old Mt Fuji emblem.

Technically, the manufacturer calls it a G35. The skyline never was and never will be sold in America. The new skyline is actually branded as just the GT-R, so the skyline badge has never been branded on any car from the factory in the states.

Once again, it's your car, do what ya gotta do.

Technically its the VQ35 model "Skyline" Sure there is no vehicle sold directly out of a US factory carrying the Skyline badging, But If you ask any person on this earth that has ANY knowledge about the history of a GTR made by Nissan, They will automatically Put the Two together. How bout you go and tell the Japanese ppl who designed the New GTR that it has no affiliation with "Skylines" and also tell them that the G35 is not a VQseries Skyline. And i think most of us will hold you to your quote "The skyline was and never will be sold in America" Since you are a Prophet and all... :thewave:

Don't forget floormats/trunkmat (if your G came with embroidered ones), clock/climate display, head unit, transponder keys, and first aid kit.

lol like mine??? ppl tease me about it.. I simply tell them Im just bringing the car back to its roots... the way it was meant to be a skyline, but of course with a touch of US luxury.... IMHO I kinda feel it would be degrading the car to be a nissan.. but some ppl tell me... to GO ALL THE WAY! and to do the whole conversion to nissan......

Im with them. Go all the way. There is no such thing as an Infiniti skyline. Nissan skyline, yes but Infiniti skyline, no. What are those black holes?

in america manufacture calls it infiniti g35 where did u get skyline 350gt from, your saying if i go to infiniti dealership or even nissan dealership ima find a car with skyline 350gt on the sticker on the window of the car where it describes the features and the price?? when i bought my car it had the skyline 350gt emblem on that **** looked gay as **** and attracted wayyyyy to much attention, askin too many questions on why it was called 350gt meanin there is no real 350gt sold in america, i took that **** off my car cause my car is not a real nissan skyline 350gt, even though its by nissan co its still a infiniti g35, kinda like what wannabesport said its kind of a way of downgrading your car for no reason, when u wanna spend alot of money to change emblems airbag covers ,carpet even manual and first aid kit thing to nissan is a strange and just stupid

It's only called an Infiniti because Nissan wanted something that sounded "higher end" when in all reality...it's a skyline. Take the toyota supra for example. Let's say that everywhere in the world it's sold, it's known as a toyota supra. Now lets say just here in america toyota decides to call it the Transpeed Rager. Harcore enthusiast would know it's really a toyota supra because that's what it's called all over the world so many would want to call it that because that what it really is and that's it's history, not the Transpeed Rager. It's the same with people that rabedge their infiniti's. The skyline obviously has a long and distinguished history with auto enthusiasts and just because nissan decided they wanted to give it a fancy name here in the US, doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a skyline. Look below...look familiar?

how is it worthless comments? just saying how it looks like. skyline 350gt is right hand drive infiniti g35 and left hand drive, i heard they have different engines brakes etc straight from manufacture, same with the intergra type r and just the normal one, kinda two different cars

1. dude, get over yourself. the emblem on your car neither makes you gay nor does it attracts attention - especially a nissan or infiniti emblem.
2. use some proper punctuation.
3. the car is manufactured in japan where the manufactureR calls it the skyline 350gt.
4. and yes, if you pop the hood and/or check the sticker inside your door jam it says VQ35.

God, This guy needs to go to school on how to properly make a sentence. I had to read it twice to understand what he was trying to say. LOL! Ok first of all you are right that the Skyline in Japan have different drive-train packages available, but that is only when dealing with the sedans. The Skyline Coupe (If I may add, those are the ones that look exactly like our cars here in America (^_-) ) only come with the (VQ35) motor. The Brakes are exactly the same. There are two options available when dealing with the brakes. Those are the regular ones, and the Brembo brake system. Both options were available here in the US till 2005 I believe. The only Exception is when ordering a Sedan with the Impulse Package, (available in Japan only as an option) which was rims, brakes, exhaust, body kit, and Chip.

Now with the Integra (not Intergra) Type R, and regular Integra. I cant really understand how your using this to give an example against the skyline and G35. Both the Type R Integra, and base model Integra's are sold here in the states. They are the same Car with different drive-train packages. Ohh, and there both made by HONDA.

Ohh, and if you think your not hating on debadging. Look at what you wrote.
