Sounds like you sprayed the skirt with a pressure washer hose and the paint started to peel. Our paints are'nt all the great and take a beating.

My guess is a rock chip damaged your paint. Moisture probably got underneath and caused the paint to not stick so it was just sitting on top of the surface. So as soon as you washed... off it goes.

Maybe it was damaged in shipping, and they repainted it at the dealer. Should not peel like that unless it wasn't prepped properly.

The paint shouldn't peel like that, car must've had a chip or something in the paint...

sometimes bodyshops do cheap work. example i bought mud flaps for my girls ride and the body shop never cleaned them good enough before spraying them and the oils from the plastic on the mudflap was not removed and a week later when i washed her car the paint just started to peel off. brought it to a different shop they told me why it happened and repainted them again. no problems since. make sure what ever you get painted that its preped correctly.

high pressure or not, the paint should not come off. there is something wrong and the dealership should take car of it.
