My first photo shoot (no G content)

Alright, like the title says this is my first photo shoot. Keep in mind that this is NOT my car, it's a friends. Please comment on the pic's, both good and bad. I want to better myself as a photographer and the only way to get there is with criticism and pratice.

Tell me what you think.

Thanks for the comments!

first couple pics are ok, but you picked a bad location with the top of the car being black, it blends in with the black sky and the lines of the car are lost. The first garage shot look really good to me, only thing i would do is crop off a little on the right side so the car is centered in the frame. Last one, personally, i'm not a fan of the texture ps technique's so its a no go for me.

That car is probably one of the ugliest things I've ever seen, but your photography isn't too bad! Like others have said, when you have a black background and a black car you need to be careful. I always prefer taking pictures with a background that make the car "pop".

Negative stuff:

Lighting kinda sucks.

When shooting pics of a car indoors the best lighting is the long strobe lights not the circular ones.

That cars ghaphics kinda ruin it a little for me.

The second to last pic looks as if you wanted the car in the center and its a little off so you should crop to make it centered.

The last pic has a tasteless photoshop filter, too much boring space on the left side

Positive stuff:

I do like the filter for the sky you used in photo 2.

As far as composition goes its not too bad.

^ But im an amateur photographer so dont take to heart.

thanks for the responses guys. I know the cars not the greatest looking car in history, but he bought it as it is (minus a few scratches) for $4K... and it has a $10K paint job on it and about $10K in audio equipment.

Thanks for all the advice!

Thanks
