Right now im stretched a 225/35/20 on a 9 and a 245/35/20 on a 10.5, I like the stretch on the rear, but the front is barely noticable. Can I fit a 215/35/20? Its a 37 btw and non of the guys really stretch on those cars. The one guy I know had a 215 on a 9 said the bead wouldnt set and the tire kept popping off lol. Whats your guys opinions? this is my DD btw.

Yes, you'd be able to without a problem. Reason why sometimes it won't bead is because the person doing it isn't doing it right, or well enough. There's many shops that can't do it, or that can only do it so well. Others have no problems doing some crazy stretches. It also depends on the tire. Some have a weaker sidewall or different type of sidewall that makes it easier to stretch. Stretching an Achilles tire is easy. It runs on the smaller side too. I had a 215/35 Achilles on a 9, and it was a decent stretch...not what I was used to. Before I had a 235/30 and a 225/35 on a 10.5 (more true running tires...Hankook).Originally Posted by doggyfresh102
