The funniest thing about this whole thread is that it's Cali based b/c of the smog laws... Can't do major performance mods cuz the ref with fail u... Instead, u spend all your money on wheels and tires! Hahahaah

And we don't have smog laws here? There's guys running cosworth blocks, built motors, FI (as in twins) and hell I'm even running a pop charger not designed for my year

You're right. It does hurt. People like Marty, Randy, and Fab didn't boost their cars because of the smog laws on the West Coast. They're all wheels and tires...

You're defense is no good to me. I'm in TN and have a '99 Civic with a '92-'95 ECU in it to run the car. It's fully built motor and a 60/63 t3t4 on it... It's tagged and legal... Cali smog is a lot more strict than any other states... AEM makes an intake that is "Cali SMOG legal"... Why you might ask... because their emissions testing is much stricter and they must run their cars through a SMOG Ref... This ain't my first rodeo... It takes a lot more work to get a car to pass emissions testing in CA than in any other state!
