Aggressive Wheels & Stretched Tires: Post 'Em Up! [[Some NSFW]]
Yeah. YOU follow my logic chief. YOu know exactly what I'm talking about. My usage of the word "calibrate" and your acknowledgement of my use of the word "calibrate" along with act of pretending like you don't know what that means further proves my point. Don't act like you don't know what calibrate means with a suspension system and then pull the ole "I'm grown and clearly you're 12" move on me. We're all adults here. We can have a disagreement without it getting all muffled up with catchy StanceNation and Hellaflush termanology.
That said, I get my hands dirty with any car I have. However, if I don't know how to do something or if it's a job I can't find time to complete (because juggling my house, car notes, kids private school and wife from my granny's basement can get very time consuming as I'm sure you could imagine), I don't have a problem paying someone with knowledge of it to do it or at the very least, grab some friends to help out. I've never installed bags and I damn sure don't know enough about them to amass a parts list of what's needed. But, I'm not ashamed of that. There's a bunch of things I don't know. Hell, if you go a page or few back, I asked about cup kits. I'm not gonna try to go all Mike Rowe just for some street cred. Clearly, you're in the know with a setup like that so it probably would make more sense for you to build it yourself. But for the average person, that's a lot of extra work and takes a lot of patience (which a lot don't have). I've done a few coilover setups, so I'm comfortable enough to go about building or installing that myself, but I literally know JACK AMADEUS S#1T about airbags so I doubt I could go your route.
And if you save, you could drop 1500 all at one time. You're spending the same money. I've built cars piece by piece (when I was younger) and really don't prefer it. I just wait until I have the money and get the part(s). If I can do'em myself, then I do. If I can't, then I don't.

How can you compare a pieced together bag kit vs "quality" coils though, shouldn't we be comparing quality vs quality. Throw in some nice quality struts and you're still at $1500.
Do we even know the quality on those valves?

We all have our own preferences, we all have our own ways. I just did a little reading up on airbags and it makes logical sense to me.
I was simply defending my stance on the topic in reply to your post. It makes sense to me now that you know nothing about airbags and you admitted that.
I'm moving on.

Need to get this thread back on topic...
I'm done with the bag posts. If anyone has questions or comments, you can PM me.
#late we already called an end to it. Thanks.
Nope. That's more of a noob tip. Thanks. As for bags and fitment in the same sentence, it's no different than fitment and camber being in the same sentence so shut your face.
