wide body + stretch + scion = FAIL!!! you go wide body to fit WIDER wheels, why not go as wide as possible and but the rightsize tires on!!!!!!

FAIL NOT FOUND!

You go widebody to fit wider wheels NOT bigger wheels. WOW!!!

Matter of fact, he could put a 5mm spacer on the front. But it doesnt look bad as it sits.

That sure doesn't look like a 295 on a 13" wide wheel. My 285 on an 11" wide is stretched & yours doesn't look stretched. Any other angles?

^ plus, on a gt7 that lip should be HUGE. the 10.5 wide already has a dish that big, and the spokes sit just as close to the bbk

Here is his car domain page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3094823

That's not 13", not even 12". He's probably measuring from lip to lip and not in between. But I'm still interested to find out how he managed to get a rim this wide from volk...

besides, a 13" wheel doesn't fit inside of a stock wheelwell, 12" is about as far as you can push it, and thats with mm of clearance

I call BS

Volk only comes in .5's 9.5/10.5 etc. I know you said custom but a 19x13 would have a lip of 6inches PLUS. my 19x10.5 GT7s had a 4 inch lip. so another 3 inches would well into 6 inch lip. your wheel looks like a

19x10.5 +24 295.30.19 wheel. to much rubber btw.

Crap! Im going to have to check the width when I get it back from the tuner in MN. When I got the car, I traced it back to a shop in Florida that put the car together. He told me it had custom 13s on the rear. I guess I never got around to double checking the width on it. I wonder if the person who bought the car from them removed the wheels for some reason.

Dang, I thought I had some nice custom pieces on it Looks like I joined the right forum - alot of G35 knowledge

I will keep you all posted on what I find out. At least the car is still a blast to drive.

also have to remember that wheels involve sales and sometimes if they suspect you are just enteriing the tuning world they will take advantage of your pocket book and tell you what you want to hear to get that sale. good luck
