If you're sticking with full faced wheels then yeah you wont need one, but going with a open face IMO a bbk is a must to finish off that look. That's JMO of course though! As i've said before it's just not the same seeing a siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick **** setup then with the tiny stock brakes behind em . And seeing a Sick setup with a BBK filling in the background.

i agree with shane, 5-6 spokes look way nicer with a bbk, with mesh style you can get away without one

its funny how the aggressive scene pop hardcore once people started posting specs. Looking from the start and for awhile aggressive was +12 or so. We post spec so we give people a chance to par up or rise the bar, and if you are strickly fittment and all about wheels you want the most out of that wheel. You want every inch of lip you can get from that11in not losing space for no BBK.

JAW DROPPING SETUP > Less aggressive with bbk. Maybe cause we are strickly wheels and fittments and not the Whole Look kinda guys

Wheel fitment and lip size are 2 completely different things.

Fitment wise a 5" lip will look just as good as a 5.5" lip with the same offsets/tire size. Noone will know the difference unless you were to physically go and measure.
I am able to fit a 5.5" lip with my bbk which is still bigger than almost everyone w/o a BBK. So you can easily have the best of both worlds. Having a bbk doesn't make a set up less aggressive. It makes you unable to run a slightly bigger lip, that is all.

In your opinion having a .5" bigger lip is more jaw dropping than having a ballin a$$ BBK shining through.

And IMO i think not having a bbk takes away from the JAW DROPPINGNESS of a setup!

opinions are great since everyone gets one of their own
