Aggressive Wheels & Stretched Tires: Post 'Em Up! [[Some NSFW]]
hey guys can you shed some light on the whole air suspension/height/wheel poke thing and exactly just how legal it all is...
is air suspension legal, is it labeled for off road use only ? certain ride height illegal, and wheels and tires that poke out past the fender require mudguards illegal....etc...
these are just a bunch of issues I have to deal with where I live unfortunately, plus with insurance company (and I do say company, because where I'm at there is only 1 insurance company and it's government owned and run, and you guessed it CROOKED AS FCK) they probably wont be covering me if I get into an accident because "my ride height and tires were not to OEM spec" all types of bull, I wanna know how it is down in California and what it really is

If you hit switches while rolling a cop will give you a ticket..same as they've done for years with Hydros.
Maybe Shane can confirm if his airbags have a label on them that say for off road use only, because I have seen this label on certain coilovers... but these were no name brand types, I don't know if big name companies actually go all out to comply with safety standards.
