How were you disapointed? I kinda was too but can't really place why I was so. It might have been just because everybody was off doing their own thing?...I dunno...

The meet was not that great. There were mostly riced out G's and Z's with kits and stock wheels. But there were a dozen or so very nice cars.

Calvin, thanks for the tips. By the way, I saw your car at the meet too (obviously, it was next to the orange G). It looks a lot better in person than it does on pics. Those wheels are 5x more impressive when you stand next to them, I thought the same at the last HIN when I saw it for the first time. But why are you running so much camber on the front wheels? Your rears have less of it. Doesn't make sense, explain if you don't mind please. I might just add some more camber on mine too...

Thank you for that comment. I don't feel as bad anymore

Thanks. The camber isn't by choice. I'm running the SPC front a-arms (w/out the spacers), but they aren't enough. Until I stop buying toys for my camera and can afford SPL arms, then I'll be keeping the -3 camber. The rear is -1.5. I may go -2 in the rear in the future after I get new tires (275/35 instead) so I can slap on some 10mm spacers...maybe 15mm.

Are these them?

Everyone always makes a big deal out of Stillen day, so I was pretty hyped about it. I had high expectations and they just weren't met. Nothing at the meet really "wow'd" me. Nothing I haven't seen before (that was worth seeing).

Stillen Event...."Great Pic!"

This is my third Stillen event and possibly my last. Unless you need to buy
something and get the free install it's pretty much the same every year. I
left a little early and the traffic going home was a SOB, nothing like
sitting in the freeway parking lot for over 2 hours....Ouch! Am I the only one
that noticed Dave O and Nissan Sport Mag were missing, wonder what's with
that? This should be there biggest event since Stillen's a sponsor....

Nothing really wow'd me either. I'm not much into the "show" thing either though. It was nice to see all of the G's and Z's there representing. I was just happy to have so many SD people make it up there.

Unless you are going to get a 50mm f/1.2 you will not get a shallow-er depth of field. Set your camera to "M" and put the aperture to 1.4, then adjust the shutter speeds from there or you could always do the same with the aperture priority.

I'd think the kit lens would be a lot easier to use at a meet than a prime 50mm, you must have been standing a long ways back for each shot

Imagine how far back I was with my 70-200.
