i would but POS crest infiniti painted over them on the passenger door and quarter so imma repaint the whole car but first im going to black out the roof the same color as the grill

Very Black, very shinny grille....!

Good job, I really like the gloss black rather than flat! Flat black is very dull
with the silver Geees. Did you clearcoat for better protection, kinda like
wearing a raincoat?

Wait wait. Prevent chipping? My chips like crazy and I wanna redo but what is it that you use to prevent the chipping?

well its simple really what i did to ensure no paint chips is a sanded it all the way down to just the chrome then put 2 medium coats of primer with a additive called flex additive its for bumpers to prevent the paint from cracking when moved. then while the primer had just flashed off (egg shell appearance) i applied 2-3 medium coats of base no additives. then let that dry mixed up clear enough for 3 medium coats also with the Flex additive so the way when rocks hit it the paint is soft to where it absorbs the blow of the rock and then kinda returns to its previous state if that makes any sense?

bought an extra grill, dropped it off at the shop to be professionally painted. said it would be ready Tuesday. I cant wait to see it!
