Btw, just a tip from a friend, get the blood off the calipers as fast as possible. Kinda hard after it dries.

I'll jump on the bandwagon - Raccoon hair embedded in my bumper after an I-90 impact:

I see a lot of dead animals on the road and this was my first run-in with one. OP- glad to see your incident wasn't too terribly bad.
