Four-Door Coupe Photoshoot | HDR | Brooklyn/Manhattan | 7.27.08
Finally setup up our 2nd official photoshoot for DieselX sedan. First one was when he first bought his car (stock, ****, clear corners), and this is the second one, about 2 years later. With the intentions of going out on a Sunday morning @ 5-6AM for a photoshoot around the city, we spent the Saturday afternoon fixing things on his car, got the headlights 2-toned, and Alex painted the inside of his taillights, we didnt finish until 5AM. I also had intended to buy a new lens and a remote flash on Saturday for the shoot, but B&H was closed (damn jews ! lol), so I had to work with what I had. We also borrowed our friends camera which helped a lot.
So 5AM came, we packed our **** up, and started to head out, and then it started to thunderstorm, heavy rain, wind, lighting! We said *** it, and went with the plan, no way were we going to back out after pulling an all nighter, so we grabbed a huge umbrella and headed off. Our first stop was DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), we rolled up and saw a sick spot, Alex drove right into the park, and parked his car, good thing it was empty, otherwise we could have been in big trouble with the Park Department. Shot there for about 45 minutes and left, by then it had stopped raining and sun started to rise. From there on we went to the city, and snapped pictures in the fashion district.
Total shoot lasted 3hrs, got back home by 9AM, was cracked out, passed out till 3PM.
Edited the pictures in HDR, my first attempt.
