I'll give it up....that is one NICE shot.
Can you make a rolling shot of a beater look as nice? I'd love to see that.

Did you make the rig yourself?
My friend lent me the money (he bought/ordered it) and put it together. It's VERY simple to assemble.Originally Posted by zx11pilot

Very cool. I'd love to get something like that to hook on to my Ducati - could make for some interesting shots on the track Originally Posted by Calvin

I'm not sure how much I'd trust a rig flying on the track.Originally Posted by zx11pilot

The car was only moving ~5mph in the shot in this thread.

I guess it would be considerably more difficult to get a stable shot on something moving 45-50. I've tried mounting a still camera to the tank but there's too much vibration at those speeds so you can't get the cool motion blur like in your shot. Originally Posted by Calvin

I'll have to try a few shots at slower speeds and see how they turn out....

Yo Cal.. are you going to post the rig info in the photography section. I would love to build a rig for those kind of shots.

I really like the pic in the 1st post. In the high-res version, is it the editing, or is there some serious orange peel goin' on?
