HDR suppose to create best contrast for all areas of the photo, so you receive detail in every light source. Instead this just looks cartoonish, like a screen shot from Need for speed.

I think he purposely used heavy HDR on these pics for those cartoonish looks...

not bad, overkill on the HDR tho. what program are you using to stack? and what kind of camera and lens are you shooting with?

i mainly use HDR to get the pop feeling out of the picture. I never go intense into the cartoon look because you get all kinds of reflections everywhere and it ruins the subject.
