CORRECT just the muffler

 

so you run it w/ stock muffler and mid-pipe?

do you suggest i get a aftermarket midpipe and y pipe?

My custom dual 2.5" exhaust, completely un-resonated, going straight back to HKS carbon-ti mufflers:

 

You can always get an FI Y-Pipe. I bet that would sound sick.

 

yeah. an aftermarket y-pipe and mid-pipe will make the sound much better and less restrictive!

i have a MD xyz pipe w/ my tanabe hyper spec and its sounds really good.
One of my team mates said its sounds exotic. lol!

 

You can go aftermarket (they're all pretty much the same), or you can be cheap and go with a Y-pipe from an HR Z (since you seem like you are thrifty...)

Yes it will, and it will give you better flow and probably a reduction of weight over the stock pipes. Lol, O Hella OEM is the cheapest guy on the forums lol.
