I use a combination of the waterproof ones and the Ribbon LEDs. Very easy to use, just solder on a + and -, and you're good to go.

I promised my wife that I wouldn't do anymore headlights. I'm currently in the process of revising my previous setup. I'll sell these temporary lights when I'm done with my other set. I need to take a pic of the cutoff. I cut out one of the shields and spaced it to give a sharper cutoff.

I just wired it into the city light off of the wire harness that comes on the headlight, so everything is kept as stock on the car's main wiring. I'm actually seeing how long the LEDs with last around the main projector, as I've heard that heat can burn them out.

I've heard that too, I am curious to know how long they hold up. Looking forward to your response, lol.

Hey E_K another question, since i dont have it in my hand, but, When i do mine ill be painting my housings black, would you be able to paint the led strip and just cover up the LEDS themselves so that it will blend in better?

Also did they send you the wire to solder on to the strip, or did you have to buy it seperate?

Shane, I bought a similar strip from them. Leds came solder on the strip.

You can always solder or break off the leds, then re solder them back on. A few months ago I bought a similar set from them but didnt like their leds so I ripped theirs out and soldered mine in (leaving their resistors in).

I didn't paint these LED strips, but I've done it before with their waterproof ones, where I masked off the LEDs, and spray painted the rest silver.

And a pic of the cutoff. I need to raise the passenger side a bit. This is about 80 feet away, cutoff still sharp with blue.

Mike's new design for the GTR. This is what he is creating for the Coupes as well. He is just waiting on the shipment for the products. These new ones for the coupe will have alittle more bulk to them and the LED's inside are placed differently!

I've been looking for an alternative for the oznium LEDs for DAYS and your post made it obvious that i have no other choice! Do your "temporary" headlights that you posted use UV or White? They kinda look purple! (And very cool imo) - Looking to pull the trigger tomorrow, thanks!

Hey E_K what color white did you use on those headlights? Cool or neutral? I want like a WHITE WHITE with just barely a hint of blue, in the pics the cool white looks good but im afraid they might be too blueish in person~!
