question for the 06 headlight modders that have left a chrome trim around the projector and turn signals unpainted...what are you using to mask this area off? is there a special tape that will curve easily or is the an all day affair with blue painters tape and an exacto??

Headlights painted silver (same color as grill) with clear turn signal. Work done by RRYDE (aka caskyline).

That piece doesn't come off. It's all one piece.

You can get the green automotive tape which will comes in thin rolls so you can make the curves alot cleaner. You can even get better stuff at a auto body shop. The kind they use for pin striping.

here's a pic from sleek's old setup to illustrate what i'm referring to...painter's tape doesn't really curve cleanly, so i was thinking something like pinstripes that will have a little more give, just wasn't sure what others have been using to mask the chrome trim

I used 3M vinyl pin striping tape, it bends a lot easier than the actual masking tape.
