i asked the body shop about the window and he said he takes the windows off to not worry about any paint chips and peeling from the roof of the car. he said he likes to paint cars like this so he can get the paint underneath all the moldings.

 

might actually not be half bad.

post up when it's all finished up. looking forward to seeing it.

 

Hope the end result looks good. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

4 to 5k easy if done right with good products. Maybe fixing minor things here and there.

 

What wheels are you going to go with? Cant wait to see the car finished.

looks exactly like the finish replacement panels come coated in from the factory.

 

I liked the before picture better....matte finish belongs on pre-war vehicles.
