i keed, i keed. i was pushing it at a snail's pace for about 10-20 seconds... can't remember.

and yes, i'm getting a drop in the near future; i have 350z h-techs sitting in my trunk, but i need to get an extra set of springmounts, and possibly a camber kit... i don't want my new tires to wear out already!

i think i also need soad to help me install these things.

but right now i barely have any time!

I'd say just install the springs first. Wait couple weeks until they settle, then decide if you need to cut the springmounts or not. Do the same for camber kits. Everybody have mixed results with those springs, chances are they maybe pretty even or your car aligns within spec (save $500+!).

But if I follow your process and it does end up that I have to cut the springmounts and add camber kits, wouldn't that cost me even more in the long run to have to go back in and install the cut mounts, and again later on the rear camber kit? I guess you're right, seeing as everyone gets different results with the springs... but the ones I have in my trunk are used (long enough to have already settled, apparently). Also, my camber right now is just barely within spec on my passenger front tire @ -1.2 degrees. Since I'm going lower now, it almost seems like it's inevitable that I'll go past that.
I also read that the guy who had my springs (sedan) had an uneven drop.
It all bodes badly.
You still think I should do what you told me, Johnny?

Ok, I didn't know they were used, or knowing your current alignment specs since camber look pretty good when I saw them. I was basically advising to take it in steps to play safe. Since most people do these two mods in second phrase.

Yea hit up Omar, he does all that and great job too.

So... should I just hit up Omar for the spring install only, first? Then wait a month and check height level of car/go for another alignment? Then if the car dropped unevenly, get the springmounts cut, and if the car is way out of alignment, get camber kits?

Because I'm not sure what "settling" entails exactly, but from what I've garnered from the almighty Search button, "settling" is the springs gradually sinking into the springmounts. The springs themselves don't compress more, from what I've read.

HALP.
