Not a big fan of benson drag strip, the burn out pit is bumpy as fvck, I don't know if they fixed it but the last time I was there, it sucked...

i never ran DR's there so there was no reason to be in the pit. bunch of 6-7s cars there, so the prep must be ok. either way, there's also one out near roxboro. closer if you live on chapel hill side. havent been there.

 

I live in Raleigh, but I'll drive to fayetteville to freaky fridays, or I'll go to rockingham, well when I did ran at Benson I had drag radials on my civic, I ran a 8.79 through the 1/8th

how much was your civic putting down? it will be a good race between us because you are experienced.

I just made a dyno day feeler thread in the southeast forum at national speed check it out.

$50 for 3 pulls with A/F.

 

My civic was only putting 194 whp with 162 ft/lb tq... fully gutted with me in the car it weighted 2590... I wish my civic was ready to run at rockingham but I tore the motor down and sent it off to get sleeving done with a fully built head and ITBs

The shop won't be able to tune you on a dyno day due to the amount of cars and limited time to dyno.

Can you swing the 9th we can stil go on the 2nd to get tuned.
