Ya I know what you mean. Originally when I first started modding I tried to stay away from fg products but in all honesty this feels nothing like your typical fg product. I feel like its a strong solid mixture of both fg+poly not to mention the fitment is on point.
I got no regrets. Im surprised more people don't have Vertex, but totally understand the price issue lol.

Somewhere along the way FG got this horrible stigma.. probably due to cheaper, thinner replicas made of fiberglass. The authentic fiberglass kits I've gotten out of Japan such as Kenstyle and GReddy are far superior to fiberglass kits I've seen made in the US.
I rocked FG for 5 years. I hit curbs, I scraped over speed bumps and NEVER ONCE did I have the kit crack or splinter on me. It's was sturdy. It didn't sag. I'd buy another fiberglass kit from an authentic company any day over poly from a replica kit maker... even if I'm slammed. Hell... I ride with carbon 2 inches off the ground. Fiberglass is just fine.
