Technically, I don't think the Stagea ever had a Skyline front end. The mechanics and interior were the same though, so people were putting Skyline front end conversions on it.

 

That would be one hell of a family car.

I'd kill for a high powered rwd biased wagon from Japan. A normal Staega w/o the GTR bs conversion would be cool. What's not to like? AWD and the RB26DETT in a wagon?

Subaru wagons are funky looking (although the Legacy is pretty nice) and their engines are too small. I'm not feeling the reliability from Germany.

 

They need to make a regular sedan version of the gtr first. I would personally rather drive an S4 wagon I think.
