That thing is beautiful. I know you said the paint is new, but is that the original color? Cant do much better than British Racing Green on a sweet old Jag like that. And the tan interior with dark piping really sets everything off in there...lets not forget that wood dash!!!! Not a single part of that car looks out of place. Amazing job, hope you keep it in the family for a LONG TIME.

The car was green originally, but the new paint has metal flake added.

The pictures are pretty crappy honestly, they were taken with an older point and shoot.

We are going to do an actual photo shoot with it this spring, so I will post pics when that happens, but these pics below were taken with a Nikon and they show the paint off a little more.

but whats up w/ the audio system? you guys dont want a custom system for the trunk to make it clean? since your dad went all out for his baby already ask him to take the audio to the next level

Yeah, good point, I don't feel that it is all that noticeable when you are actually looking at the car, but you are right. We should look in to any smaller receivers that are available or the possibility of color matching it.

You could definitely throw a false floor and all that in the back and have it looking pretty cool or even do something a little more subtle, but that's not really my Dad's thing.

The car is modified from the original equipment, but he competes in Jaguar and vintage classic shows and the audio set ups are not really their "cup of tea." In fact the point/rating system for JCNA competition is really restrictive. Audio systems are typically viewed as completely foreign to the car and would result in major point deductions for most cars.

I do agree with you though. Maybe we can talk him in to a super stealth system with a couple of 8" subs hidden away.

Thanks for the comments guys. ^If these are the most negative comments then I guess we are doing OK!
