If somehow you could put a strip of leather, it would be hot and perfectly match OEM. How does this function? Do you press down on the **** or does it completely get rid of the locking concept?

I want a shorter auto shifter for my G but only if it retains the locking feature

You just press the **** down to get the car in gear so you still have the locking function.

I will try to work up a DIY for this.
