Quote: did u ever try to sit the LEDs right in the middle of the mesh? it looks like you just kept them as is and rolled with it (even though there was a lot of negative feedback i always liked the look)
never tried it like that, i was too lazy to buy more or different led's, these might be coming off soon though. i left them on for hin, since people seem to flock to mods like these at shows

Quote: heres mine
i have the same led's as the OP(thankyou)

i put mine on the top though

at night pic (no flash)
these leds are pretty bright at night lol
looks good on yours, and that pic shows how bright these really are at night.

i think these would look much better on if they were integrated into our bumpers, but that's a lot of work for a little mod

i think the orange side makrers gotta go, JDM clear corners with ultra white bulbs will accent the led's a lot more

i actually like the amber bulbs. i would run the stock orange corners, but i don't have jdm tails, so they wouldn't match anything on the car

try to get a strip that goes all the way across the vent, if possible and maybe place on the bottom of the vent

yeah this chop just looks a lil shorter it should be the same size as yours.

are there longer ones too? links?

i prefer it at the top because the top of the vent slants to the bottom going sideways... or maybe in the middle (on the mesh itself), hmm we'll see

You know, if you stare right at the Infiniti logo on the grille (using your peripherals to see the lights), the LED's look kind of good haha. If you stare right at them you can tell it's a bad photoshop haha.

I think if you guys want to go with a solution that doesn't look cheap or gimmicky you should checkout Hella's LED Daytime running light kit. They use the same LEDs + Optics as the Audi/Mercedes solutions.

Most of the stuff I've seen in this thread looks cheap (No offense)

^^ i thought about using those, but didn't want to spend that much money on something i wasn't sure about. so i went the cheap route.. i might take a second look at it though. I'd be looking to integrate the unit into my front bumper
