The post I just made has step lips, the one before mine (Lexus) does not have a step lip (known as reverse lip). Not sure if true or not but I've heard with reverse lip when it rains it can get into the wheel and cause vibrations in some cases and with step lip wheels they are stronger. Don't quote me on that though.
