infiniti G35: New turbo

Well this is what i've been up to, got this bad boy in not too long ago. Once it goes on i'll have the biggest turbo on any street G/Z.

It's a GT4294r with a tial stainless steel back housing. This turbo is pretty much the sexiest snail i've ever seen. I'll keep you guys updated on the progress.

Custom 3 inch downpipe will have to be fabbed, (Power Fabbed to be precise) keep an eye out for progress of this build. Car got out of paint last week too, but i'm waiting on decent pictures to show you guys that

For those who aren't aware, it's going on this car.

Man, that thing looks heavy! This is one of the few mods that adds weight to your car and isn't a bad thing.

Nice!

You going to be expecting any turbo lag with that or will you have the displacement to get it spooling?

That's a huuuuuge turbo.

side note: exposure time of 5 seconds on that pic...wow. Did J.Evins take that pic?

Yeah, it's an Evins pic.

The turbo is actually a duel ball bearing turbo, and with that AND the tiny hot side, it will probably spool about as fast as my old 60mm journal bearing. Worst case scenario I spray to spool it.
