It's not possible to recreate Real 3D, because you'll need something to physically alter the polarization of each image from your monitor...

Not sure where you can get it, other than online, but here's an easier solution... Go rent "My Bloody Valentine 3D" or "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D". It should come with 3D glasses that are Green/Red... (Check to make sure it comes with glasses) Then use those glasses on the following image:
(Otherwise, I've seen the Green/Red 3D glasses on ebay for like 40 cents)

Unfortunately, it's not possible to recreate "Real 3D" on your PC. The best you can get with your PC, will require an LCD monitor that is capable of 120hz refresh, and a graphics card that is capable of displaying that. Then you can have the graphics card alternately display the LEFT and RIGHT images... then you use LCD/Shutter glasses, that alternately black out each eye... Usually your graphics card will have an IR receiver that plugs into it, and it will come with 3D glasses, and they will sync the refresh rate using the IR receiver.

I have too much time on my hands... But anyways, I was working on some Stereoscopic 3D stuff at work, so I had an idea, and figured I'd make a 3D photo of my car
If you still have you 3D glasses from the superbowl, than enjoy Sorry for the crappy picture, it's pouring rain outside, so I did the picture in my garage

For those that are using the Red/Green 3D glasses, I just tested the Red/Green image at work with my red/green glasses... I think I did the color phasing backwards, so the 3D effect will look better, if you look through the Red/Green glasses backwards. (ie, make sure the red lense is on your righy eye, and the green on your left)
