Installed Bride seats/Nardi wheel.nxt roll cage.yea boy!
Your sick car just got sicker. I LOVE that and I LOVE that you're gonna drift it (it's in my name). I say 6pt just because you want the safest setup. There aren't a lot of cage neccessary crashes in drifting, but they happen and better to be safe than sorry.

Not really, there are three different hight settings that the Bride rails come with, mine is in the middle. Feels same as stock hight
Dropped on Stance Gr+ "Caveman Stance"
Thanks man, This is what I was thinking, but then I was like,,I might get a 4 point now and when it gets more serious get a custom 6 point made..don't know yet
ghey must be the new word for jdmdorifto goodness.
Hey Royal. If you do a 4pt, you will probably be fine. I mean there are countless people (self included) that drifted most of the time without a cage. Matter fact, the ONLY time I had one was after I bought a cheapy 89 240 and a buddy built one for me for free just cuz. My Z NEVER had a cage and hit 3 walls...well, not so much walls as like dirt barriers. No concrete or nothing. The 240 hit a wall or two but the cage did nothing for it. It was just something to have.
If you're still doing amateur drift day stuff, a cage might be overkill simply because most of us aren't getting up to speeds or angles where we would incur a rollover. Not saying you won't. I mean, anything's possible. It's just rare. the question you REALLY want to ask yourself is are you okay with destroying such a beautiful car...cuz...crashing is a part of drifting. From Pro's to begginners, EVERYBODY crashes.
fyi, my old Z was a white 03 enthusiast edition. One of my soldiers owns it now and has been drifting it for about a 1.5yrs no cage.

New seats & steering wheel looks very JDM. Nice addition to an already nice Z.

Go with a Cusco roll cage.
