I would still replace it because hitting your door to get the window to go up properly is not a solution. Try it your self its not that hard to be honest, I did mine in less than an hour.

Yeah I would get it fixed. My wife's old Accord the window would roll down only some times. For some reason cops just do not like it when you cant roll the window down to speak with them .

my window goes up and down with no problem now but im not going to put my window all the way down b/c i dont want to risk it not coming back up lol. but if i have it halfway up and the window doesnt go up i just just pull the window up myself. lol.but UPS just dropped off my new OEM window motor so whenever it decides not to work i can just have my infiniti dealership install it ill just wait for now my infiniti dealership wants $180 to install the motor.
id rather get my audio system installed this sunday haha
